Through reading this rhetorical analysis paper, an excellent way is shown in how to present this type of paper. All of the tools that we have been taught to use and look for when analyzing a paper have been placed in a perfect order in such a way that it gives the reader an interest to research the original source of information, which was the speech given by Former President Bush. The student presents an effective introduction by placing the rhetorical situation, audience, author, and subject matter in a very logical and very easy to follow format and it is able to keep the interest of the intended reader through out the entire paper without loosing site of the point. He is able to keep President Bush's intent of the entire speech at the forefront of the paper without giving an incredible amount of detail, which would change the article into a summary instead of an analysis had he added much more information. In structuring this paper the way he has he has created a very strong logical presentation, that is difficult to find fault with, of the analytical facts that he has presented which helps sway his readers to the point of view that is being examined. This author uses several quotations directly from Bush to assist in supporting his perspective that he is trying to present to his intended readers. The overall tone of this paper flows extremely well with what was analyzed and also with what has been presented by this student to keep a paper full of direct analyzed facts instead of personal opinions and ideas.

My personal thoughts on this paper is that this student has completely achieved an understanding of what a rhetorical analysis should be and what is needed to perform and to produce an outstanding paper for whatever reason that it may be needed.
